Meon Valley MP Flick Drummond has officially opened the new Whiteley headquarters of RoyaleLife – the UK’s largest provider of bungalows for the over 45s. Covid delayed the opening, but Flick was able to do the honours when she visited last Friday. The company – part of the RoyaleGroup - provides fully furnished bungalows with some in gated developments. Currently it has 94 locations across the UK with more coming soon, Wickham Court in nearby Wickham is one of its sites.

The new headquarters for 70 staff replaces their previous location in Southwick Road, Boarhunt.

“It was a pleasure to officially open this new building and to do so with the pandemic behind us and people again able to come back to the office,” said Flick.

“This is a growing company in the Meon Valley and its new offices show it has confidence in the future and in our area.

“I was impressed with RoyaleLife’s ambitions and I look forward to being regularly updated on its operations.”
